Chain of arrests of absconders continues, 19th arrested: Reasi Police
Reasi, June 20, 2021: Continuing police drive against absconders who are evading arrests since years, Reasi Police on Sunday arrested another absconder, evading arrests since last 7 years.
Accused Bittu S/O Lalman R/O Tulli Tehsil Mahore & District Reasi was absconding in Case FIR no 21/2013 Dated 05/03/2013 of Police Station Reasi.
Case was proved during investigation and challaned in the court of law. To avoid conviction accused evaded arrest by going underground & couldn’t be apprehended since the registration of the case FIR.
Accused dodged the investigation agencies by disguising his appearance.
A ‘General Warrent of Arrest’ under section 512 CrPC was issued by Munsiff JMIC Reasi, against the accused on 31/07/2015
By meticulously planning Police Station Reasi traced the accused and arrested him from Katra town.
Team Reasi remained successful in nabbing the criminals who are evading their arrests since years and against whom General Warrants of Arrest are issued by Hon’ble Courts. This is the arrest of 19th absconder by Reasi Police since April 2021.
