Jammu, June 26, 2021: The Batwal Youth Development Committee (BYDC) members today paid obeisance at the Dargah of Peer Baba in Anand Pur (near Kirpal Pur) and prayed for annihilation of COVID 19 virus which has taken lives of about four million people in the world. Members also prayed for peace and tranquility in the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
BYDC President Tilak Raj Bassa said, Peer Baba in spite of being a Muslim saint, has more Hindu devotees, particularly on Thursdays, than worshipers from Muslim faith.
Bassa believes that Peer Baba’s blessings fulfils the wishes of the devotees and keep them safe and away from mishaps and evil spirits.
Among others who paid obeisance to Peer Baba included Arjun Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Gourav Kumar and Ghara Ram.
