BSP resents not being invited to PM’s APM
Jammu, June 22, 2021: Bahujan Samaj Party Jammu and Kashmir held a Press Conference at its State Headquarter Jammu to protest against the decision of the Centre Government for
not inviting Bahujan Samaj Party to participate in the All Party Meet going to be held on 24th of June 2021.
Sh S R Majotra strongly condemned the anti Dalit and anti poor decisions of the Centre Government and expressed his concerns that Bahujan Samaj Party represents the sentiments of Scheduled Castes and majority of Other Backward Classes and majority of Minority Communities in the State particularly in Jammu Province. The SC,ST,OBC’s must realize the gravity of such decision when sentiments of 50 percent population are not taken into consideration, hence the secular forces particularly the dalit and OBC’s, Minorities and Muslims unite together to give a befitting reply to BJP in the elections to come. The intentions of the BJP government is not in favour of the poor but they cook their means for the benefit of BJP minded people.
It is pertinent to mention that all concessions envisaged in the Constitution for the welfare of SC,ST,OBC’s have not been implemented while granting UT Status to Jammu and Kashmir. Even the atrocities on Dalits have been increased manifold and the Police and Civil Administration are not registering the case under attrocities on SC Act.The recent glaring mistake is of Village Malhar Udhampur where SC peoples were mercilessly beaten but the culprits have not been booked under appropriate law. He appealed the general masses to strengthen the hands of Bahujan Samaj Party who is fighting for the cause of poor Dalits, OBC’s, ST’s, Minorities and poor Hindus in case they wanted to secure the future of their generation to come. The participants were Charanjeet Chargotra Vice President, Pritam Chand General Secretary, Satish Koul Organising Secretary, Hari Chand Thappa General Secretary, Sardar Raja Singh Cashier, Rakesh Dogra, Gurbaksh, Tilak Raj Bhagat all Secretaries of State, Pushap Kumar and Tarsem Lal District Presidents.
