BSE rises 118 points to close at an all time high of 47,869

Mumbai, Jan 01, 2021: At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 118 points, to close the first trading session of the New Year, at an all time high of 47,869. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange added 37 points, or 0.3 per cent, to end at a record high of 14,019.
