BJP Corporator congratulates PM, HM for action against Rohingyas
Jammu, March 10, 2021: Narotam Sharma, Corporator, ward no 3, Jammu Municipal Corporation today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for taking action against illegal Rohingyas immigrants residing in the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Narotam informed that in 4th General House meeting of JMC held on 17 Jan 2019, the house has unanimously passed the resolution presented by him requesting the Union and J & K government for deporting the illegal foreigners including Rohingyas from the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation who were eating up the resources of the Jammuites and who had entered India and J & K without any legal documents with them. Sharma said though Jammu have the tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhav” means welcoming the guest but guests do not enter anyone’s house from windows and ventilators but enter from main road thus these illegal foreigners who have clandestinely crossed over Indian borders are not guests but they unlawful foreigners who must be deported back to their native places.
The BJP Corporator also urged the Jammuites to identify those people who are providing logistics to these illegal settlers. He also urged the Jammu Police, District Magistrate Jammu and JDA to identify the Land owners on whose plots and Land these Rohingyas built their sheds and hutments in Jammu south areas.
