Apni Party’s State Coordinators for Displaced Kashmir Migrants call on Relief Commissioner Migrants

Jammu, July 24, 2021:  Apni Party State Coordinators of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Jammu and Kashmir Divisions, Vinod Pandita and Sanjay Dhar today called on Relief and rehabilitation commissioner of migrants of Jammu and Kashmir in his office Chamber at Jammu on the directions of Vijay Bakaya State General Secretary to highlight the genuine problems being faced by Kashmiri migrants at Jammu and Kashmir Divisions for their early amelioration.

In a press statement issued here today both the coordinators Vinod Pandita and Sanjay Dhar were deputed to meet the Relief Commissioner Jammu by Vijay Bakaya, State General Secretary, Apni Party, with the problems of Kashmiri migrants being faced by these displaced migrant people both at Jammu and Srinagar.

During their detailed meeting with the Relief Commissioner both coordinators raised the problems of migrants viz, covering Kashmiri migrants living at District Udhampur with Ayushman Bharat Scheme forthwith, repair and renovation of internally  dilapidated  migrant quarters of Jammu , regular supply of pure drinking water in all camps of Jammu and Kashmir, Construction of boundary wall in Natnosoo camp Baramulla,  proper drainage system in all migrant camps, adequate  accommodation for those  PM package employees working Valley  who live on rent basis outside and have  accommodation problem, Construction of pending PM package quarters in valley on war footing, setting up of First Aid centers in all  transit camps of Kashmir, Enhancement of monthly cash assistance of Kashmiri migrants from Rs. 13000 to Rs. 25000/ per month, regular supply of ration in transit camps of Kashmir etc.

Both the coordinators were given a patient hearing by the Relief Commissioner and assured them that the problems listed during the meeting are already under his consideration and will be taken up seriously with the concerned departments for their early addressal. Some on spot directions were also passed in this direction during the meet.

They also submitted a detailed memorandum of problems to the Relief Commissioner and expressed satisfaction on his positive attitude.
