Apni Party Rallies Kashmiri Pandit Support in Jammu, Promises Action on Key Issues and Enhanced Community Engagement

M.K. Yogi, a prominent Kashmiri Pandit leader and senior member of the JKAP, along with Nana Ji Wattal, Provincial Secretary of the Minority Wing, led the delegations to the camps, where they were met with enthusiastic  participation from the residents.

Jammu, May 18, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) intensified its campaign efforts in Jammu, engaging with the Kashmiri Pandit community at multiple locations, including the Purkhu and Buta Nagar migrant camps in Muthi.

Senior party leaders, including prominent Kashmiri Pandit leader M.K. Yogi and Nana Ji Wattal, Provincial Secretary of the Minority Wing, led delegations to these camps, where they interacted with residents and addressed election meetings.

At the Buta Nagar Camp in Muthi, Yogi appealed to the minority community to support JKAP candidates Sajad Gani Lone and Zafer Iqbal Manhas in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. He assured the community that if the JKAP is voted to power, addressing their concerns and alleviating their hardships would be a top priority.

“We must demonstrate our strength and unity through our votes,” Yogi emphasized. “By supporting the Apni Party, we can strengthen the hands of our party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, and empower him to effectively advocate for our community’s interests.”

Nana Ji Wattal, in his address, highlighted the JKAP’s commitment to enhancing community engagement and fostering a stronger connection with the valley. He announced plans to organize educational tours of the Kashmir Valley for school and college students from the Kashmiri Pandit community once the Apni Party forms the government. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between generations and nurture a shared sense of belonging and understanding.

Other prominent party leaders, including Virender Sathoo, Ashok Bhawnoo, Hira Lal Bhat, Rattan Lal Koul, Rajesh Labroo, and Hira Lal Sidha, also addressed the gatherings, emphasizing the JKAP’s comprehensive vision for the betterment of the Kashmiri Pandit community.

The meetings were well-attended and effectively organized by dedicated individuals like Ashok Dhar, Vijay Kumar, Anil Kumar, Sunil Kumar, and Chuni Lal Bhat, highlighting the community’s growing interest in the Apni Party and its message of inclusivity and progress.

The JKAP’s proactive engagement with the Kashmiri Pandit community, its unwavering commitment to addressing their concerns, and its vision for a brighter future for the community solidify its position as a party that truly represents and champions their interests in Jammu and Kashmir.
