Altaf Bukhari, Ch. Zulfikar Ali, Qamar Hussain condole demise of Islamic Scholar Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed sb
Srinagar/Rajouri, June 01, 2021: President Apni Party Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of eminent Islamic Scholar and preacher Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed who passed away in a hospital at Jammu.
In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
He said Mufti Saheb’s demise has created a void in the society as he was an inspirational personality towards the right path of peace.
During his lifetime, he said, the deceased scholar advocated Islamic way of life and simplicity.
His work and contribution to the society as an intellectual who translated the Holy Quran into Gojri Language and also authored several books will always be remembered, he added.
Meanwhile Ch. Zulfikar Ali, Former Minister and Vice President, Apni Party and Ex-MLA Rajouri Ch. Qamar Hussain have condoled the demise of eminent Islamic Scholar Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed sahab.
In their condolence message, Zulfikar Ali and Qamar Hussain have expressed their shock over the demise of Waheed Sahab and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
“Saddened to hear about the demise of Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed sahib, who was an eminent Islamic Scholar and intellectual personality of the region,” said the leaders in their message condoling the demise of the noble soul.
Both, the leaders of Apni Party, prayed for courage to the family members and followers of the deceased Mufti sahab to bear this irreparable loss. They extended their sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Mufti Sahab, an acclaimed Islamic scholar, breathed his last at ASCOMS Jammu following prolonged illness.
Waheed sahab was born at Dodhasan Bala in Rajouri District in 1966. He was the first Islamic Scholar who had translated the Holy Quran into Gojri Language. Besides, he had also authored several booklets which include Siraj-um-Muneera, Namaz Aae Masayil Quran – o – Hadees Ke Roshni Mei, and Ahkam-e-Mayyat.
