Div Com Jammu inaugurates Bharat Sevashram Sangha’s guest house, office building
Jammu, June 09, 2021: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Raghav Langer inaugurated the newly constructed guest house and office building of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) at Panjgrain, Nagrota, here on Wednesday.
This guest house would provide boarding lodging and medical facilities for Yatris to Shri Amarnathji and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrines.
Appreciating the Sangha’s commitment towards the service of humanity, the Divisional Commissioner congratulated the BSS on the occasion and for the world wide philanthropic and selfless activities of its monks and workers.
The Divisional Commissioner recalled the health care services provided by BSS for the Shri Amarnathji and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrines throughout the Yatra period and hoped that the new guest house would make the pilgrimages even more comfortable for the pilgrims.
The Divisional Commissioner also appreciated the social work done by the Organisation by reaching to the affected community members at the time of the natural calamities in the J&K State.
He observed that more such charitable and selfless organizations like the BSS would make a valuable contribution towards the upliftment of the downtrodden and needy segments of the society.
Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta, who was the guest of honour on the occasion, also spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of BSS for their social welfare programmes and appealed to the Sangha to continue its humanitarian services for the disadvantaged sections of the society. He said that BSS is engaged in a host of social welfare activities all over the country.
The Secretary BSS Jammu, Srimat Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj also shared his thoughts on the occasion and said that his aim is to establish a Higher Secondary School in the vicinity to provide quality education among children of this region and also a 50 bedded Specialty Hospital. He said that Bharat Sevashram Sangha with its purely philanthropic and charitable outlook has been working in this region for more than 10 years.
