Abrogation of Article-370: Nobody was knowing about GoI’s decision before announcement in Parliament, says MHA

Jammu, February, 10, 2021 : The Ministry of Home Affairs Wednesday said that no civilian, or journalist was privy to the knowledge about the abrogation of Article 370 before it was shared in the parliament.

The Ministry of Home Affairs in reply to a question about the details of civilians and journalists having prior information about the abrogation of Article-370, stated that no civilian, journalist or anyone was privy to the information about the abrogation of Article 370 before 5 August 2019.

“No, it is not the fact that civilians not the employee of the Central government including a journalist were privy to knowledge about the abrogation of Article 370 before this information being shared with Parliament on August 5, 2019,” MHA said in a reply as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
