Srinagar Police facilitates Police Public interaction meeting at Police Station Harwan
Srinagar, January 19, 2021: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Public interaction meeting was facilitated by Srinagar Police at Police Station Harwan while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
The interaction meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Harwan and attended by the representatives of Sumo Stand Theed Harwan, Shalimar and Hazratbal.
Earlier, the people of area raised grievances regarding non availability of transport in the peak and evening hours. Accordingly, a Police Public interaction meeting was held in which the Sumo Stand Associations agreed to fulfil the demands of general public and assured the redressal of grievances forthwith.
The chairing officer appreciated working body of transporters for their efforts to deal with Covid-19 during lockdown. Moreover the participants were also requested to make use of masks mandatory.
The participants raised several issues during the meeting. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine issues pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their redressal.
Participants hailed the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
