Road safety rallies held in Awantipora
Awantipora, January 19, 2021: Police in Awantipora held road safety rallies at Pampore, Awantipora and Tral during an ongoing “National Road Safety Month”.
Road safety rallies were held to sensitize the general public and road users about road safety measures in which SDPO Awantipora, SDPO Pampore and SDPO Tral along with respective SHOs participated.
In Tral, rally started from Bus Stand Tral to Abgar Tral in which school children, members of citizen council of Tral, drivers etc participated.
In Pampore, the rally started from Police Station Pampore to Tanchbagh in which school children, drivers, members of transport union Pampore, youth of Pampore etc participated.
Similarly, in Awantipora the rally started from Police Station Awantipora to Kharmood Awantipora in which student of different Institutions, respectable citizens, members of Transport union Awantipora participated.
Participants in the rallies hold banners and placards depicting the road safety tips/rules for the awareness of the general public.
