All India Youth Kashmiri Pledges Support to Apni Party Following Extensive Election Campaign
Jammu, May 12, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) concluded a week-long election campaign focused on engaging with the Kashmiri Pandit community and rallying support for the party’s candidates in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
The campaign, which culminated on May 11th, 2024, at 5:00 pm, received a major boost with the All India Youth Kashmiri announcing its full support for the JKAP.
Spearheading the campaign were senior party leaders Sh. Vijay Bakaya, State General Secretary; Sh. M.K. Yogi, Senior Party Leader; and Nana Ji Wattal, Provincial Secretary for the Minority Wing. Sh. Abhay Bakaya, State General Secretary for Youth, and Sr. Youth Leader Muktesh Yogi led the youth campaigning efforts.
The campaign spanned numerous locations, including Gandhi Nagar, Jagti Township, Barnai, Bohri, Vikas Lane Talab Tillo, Patoli Brahmana, TRT Nagrota, Muthi, Adarsh Nagar Bantalab, Khanpur Nagrota, Subash Nagar, Kangra Fort Barnai, Durga Nagar, and Datta Colony. The team also conducted door-to-door campaigns in various migrant camps and non-camp areas.
Throughout the campaign, Sh. Vijay Bakaya and Sh. M.K. Yogi consistently appealed to the Kashmiri Pandit community to come out in large numbers and vote for JKAP candidates, highlighting the party’s election symbol, the “BAT.” They emphasized the importance of strengthening the JKAP as a voice that truly represents the community’s interests and aspirations.
The JKAP expressed its gratitude to numerous individuals who played instrumental roles in organizing meetings and facilitating door-to-door interactions. They acknowledged the contributions of Chand Ji Bhat, Jai Krishan Pandita, Ashok Bhawnoo, Hira Lal Bhat, Bal Krishan Bhat, Virender Sathoo, Pran Ji, Chand Ji Raina, Dr. ON Safaya, G.L. Pandita, Krishan Lal Koul, Pyare Lal Mawa, P.K. Dembi, Pyare Lal Pandita, Rajesh Labroo, Rattan Lal Bhat, Rattan Lal Koul, Shuban Krishan Bhat, Raj Nath Bhat, Bansi Lal Raina, Santosh Khar, Subash Kachroo, Vaibhav Mattoo, Ashok Kumar Koul, Chand Ji Khar, Bansi Lal Bhat, Vishal Jotshi, Nazir Ahmed Lone (President of Political Migrants), and Bitu Ji Bhat (social activist).
With the All India Youth Kashmiri’s endorsement and the positive response from the Kashmiri Pandit community during the campaign, the JKAP expressed confidence in a strong showing in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
