Mohabbat Ki Dukan vs Nafrat Ki Dukan

Omkar Dattatray

In the today’s Indian politics and vote bank considerations ,the political lexicon of Mohabbat Ki Dukan versus Nafarat Ki Dukan has gained currency and momentum thanks to the use of these clichés and terms by the congress leader Rahul Gandhi and its counter by the BJP and PM Narendra Modi .At the outset it should be mentioned that congress scion and leader Rahul Gandhi has used the terms Nafrat Ki Dukan in reference to and while pointing towards BJP and eulogized congress by likening it to the Mohabbat Ki Dukan .It was during the Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra ,that he has referred to BJP as a party doing divisive politics and spreading hatred and venom in the secular ,plural and diverse society and has mentioned the cliché Nafrat Ki Dukan  umpteenth times to let down the BJP and its policy of spreading communal hatred .While referring BJP as Nafrat Ki Dukan ,Rahul Gandhi has commented that congress is spreading the message of love ,mutual good and affection and thus congress has opened the Mohabbat Ki Dukan as compared to the Nafrat Ki Dukan of BJP and its allies .Prime minister Narendra Modi has said the other day that congress and other political parties in the country are opening Nafrat Ki Dukan .PM said it in connection with the criticism and opposition to the languages and language formula by the congress and other opposition outfits.PM has said that the opposition parties including the grand old party congress should shut their Nafrat Ki Dukan as the New Education Policy is giving due and equal importance to all the languages of India and so there is urgent need for the opposition parties to close their Nafrat Ki Dukan so far as the oppositions unwarranted and uncalled for criticism and opposition to the language mess and problem is concerned .The fact is that all the languages are pure and divine and all these need to be respected and taught in the country .There should be no narrowness and orthodoxy about the various languages because there is need to give due place to all languages in the school curriculum .Thus has the Prime minister said that those politicians should shut their Nafrat Ki Dukan who are doing petty and selfish politics over the languages .While congress is attacking BJP for running Nafrat Ki Dukan as according to, Congress ,BJP is busy doing divisive politics and spreading hatred and attempting creation of communal violence which is alien to our ancient and grand culture .Congress says that BJP is doing narrow religious and regional politics for the vote bank purpose and is not shying from creating communal strife in the multi-religious society .Rahul Gandhi often says that congress is spreading love ,communal amity and mutual brotherhood across the country and it abhors divisive ,religious and caste based politics and thus congress has opened Mohabbat Ki Dukan in the country to spread the messages of love ,affection and mutual brotherhood and communal harmony .In our electoral democracy both the main political parties of BJP and congress are leveling charges upon each other and are using the cliché of Nafrat Ki Dukan to denigrate BJP and are saying that congress has opened the Mohabbat KiDukan and the party is secular and is spreading the message of Gandhi ,Nehru ,Patel and the like .As against this BJP is saying that congress is doing appeasement politics and is pampering minorities in order to reap political dividends and thus congress and other opposition parties are doing negative politics and it is these parties which in fact have opened Nafrat Ki Dukan and are doing petty ,bad and selfish politics .Both the BJP as well as congress are using cliché of Nafrat Ki Dukan while referring to the other and saying that it is their party only which has opened Mohabbat Ki Dukan and are doing pure politics away from divisive politics and it is their party alone which is spreading love and  ,affection  among the people and also respecting all religious sects .Congress shouts at the top of its voice that they are the ones who are spreading message of love ,communal amity and mutual brotherhood and it is BJP which is spreading concords and hatred among the people of various faiths. .Therefore it can be said that both the parties are commenting that it is their party alone which is spreading the message of love ,affection and communal harmony ,while the other party is busy in spreading hatred and communal disharmony .Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi often says and alleges that BJP is against the very idea of India and it is the BJP which is destroying the roots of this secular country and again it is the BJP and its allies which are working against the very idea of India .We should guard the country’s secular and plural character and for this it is all the more important to fight the divisive politics of the BJP and not allow them to capture power the third time in succession .It can be said of the both parties that each can be said that pot is calling the cattle black.BJP as well as the congress and their allies are doing petty politics and are opposing each other in order to gain some votes. .But in the ultimate analysis it can be said that there is the syndrome of Mohabbat Ki Dukan versus Nafrat Ki Dukan in our politics and in the final analysis it is the people of this country who can really make a difference between the two syndromes and again it is the sagacious voter of the country who knows which party represents which and they will vote as per their conscience and will differentiate between the Mohabbat Ki Dukan Versus Nafrat Ki Dukan .Let the voters of this great nation decide what is good for the country .In the final analysis it is the voter of this great nation who will take a call and decide which party or alliance of parties is good for the country and will vote for that party / alliance of parties as coalition has come to stay in the politics of the country .In brief it is the mature electorate who are the final and best judges to decide which party or alliance deserves their vote.
