Apni Party expresses concern over negligence of marginalized section of society

Jammu, July 21, 2022: The OBC Wing of Apni Party today expressed serious concern over the negligence of marginalized sections of society with regard to the development of their residential colonies.

The concern was expressed in a public meeting organized by OBC Provincial Coordinator, Apni Party, Sohan Singh (Soni) at Subash Nagar in Jammu. The meeting was organized in presence of OBC State Coordinator, Madan Lal Chalotra.

During the meeting, dozens of people joined the Apni Party expressing their faith in the party and policy of Apni Party as they faced negligence from the traditional political parties including BJP.

Welcoming them into the Party, Soni and Chalotra welcomed them into the Party fold and hoped that their joining would strengthen the Party. Prominent among those who joined Apni Party include Vipan Kumar, Naseeb Chand, Devi Daas Verma, Satish Kumar, Rishi Verma and others.

In his address, Sohan Singh (Soni) said, “Government has downgraded the status of Jammu and Kashmir and people of Jammu and Kashmir and there is no representation to the people of the erstwhile State.”

“As there is no representation, the anger is growing among the people against the Govt since it has failed to address the issues of people and the bureaucracy is working against the interest of the local residents,” he said.

Meanwhile, OBC State Coordinator, Madan Lal Chalotra said “The people are deeply disappointed with the snatching of Statehood and downgrading of the historic Dogra State into a Union Territory.”

He said that the BJP has snatched the rights of the people by exploiting the emotions of the people of Jammu. However, the BJP has failed to deliver their promises on the ground.

He also expressed concern over the price rise of the essential commodities.
