District Jammu WOSHU Championship gets underway at indoor complex Bhagwati Nagar Jammu
Jammu, November 24, 2021: District Jammu wushu championship, organised by Woshu association of J&K, commenced at Indoor complex Bhagwati Nagar Jammu.
The woshu championship is being held in cooperation with J&K SPORTS COUNCIL for all age groups sub-junior (boys& girls) Junior and senior (boys &girls).
Ashok Singh Div. Sports Officer Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion. welcomed by the association members and participants.
He stressed upon the participants to participate in sports activities right from the sub-junior level to make them physically, mentally ,and socially fit in the society.
“Sports should be force mandatory for all age groups for overall development of the society” said Mr SAKTISH CHOPRA manager who was the guest of honour on the opening of the event.
About 100 participants (boys and girls) drawn from different clubs of Jammu district are participating in the two days event.
Among others present on the venue were Vikas Dogra, Ajay Pal Gill, Arshi Jamwal, sports lovers besides Kamal Kishore general secretary of district Jammu Woshu association.
