Why granted permission to angry kisans to take protest rally on Republic Day in the capital?
New Delhi, January 27, 2021: The Emergency meetings were conveyed by Panthers Party leadership at different places from J&K to New Delhi expressing deep concern on the inhuman and barbaric behaviour of state authorities and police in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP and Other places shattering rule of law and fundamental rights of the farmers (Citizens of India).
All men, women, old and young all over the route in the capital the kisans were taking out rallies as permitted by the authorities. What happened, the entire world was watching? That is hard talk of the ‘country’ who granted ‘permission’ to the angry farmers to take out tractors’ rally in the NCT of Delhi on the Republic Day. No such protest rally was allowed to any organization or individual on Republic Day in 72 years. Permission to angry farmers to hold tractor protest rally in the capital was a blunder and done by the government/police with some mischievous object?
Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron-NPP, Sr. Advocate & a post-graduate (LL.M) with distinction from London University who is also son of a farmer-soldier urged the President of India, Mr. Ramnath Kovind, to hold an inquiry into the fact, so that no such mischief could be allowed in future in the national interest. He said that kisans or their leaders cannot be blamed as the responsibility falls on the administration/police and Union Govt. who allowed such a kisan with tractors protest in Delhi on the Republic Day.
This unfortunate and inhuman treatment by the police with the people never happened on the Republic Day in the history of 72 years of India’s independence.
The Panthers Party leadership condemned this inhuman treatment with the farmers in several emergency meetings held in Srinagar (Kashmir), Jammu, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Lucknow and other places.
That Panthers Party advised all NPP units in J&K, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Maharashtra, Delhi and all other places to condemn this kind of brutal behaviour of authorities with the farmers who have been peacefully agitating against anti-farmers laws made by the Parliament. Also accused the Administration of allowing a kisan rally in Delhi on Republic Day.
The Panthers party supporting the farmers’ movement has urged the President of India to advise Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to withdraw anti-farmers’ laws without delay.
