Vijay Bakaya expresses concern over alarming spate of burglaries in Tawi Vihar Sidhra
Jammu, July 11, 2021: Apni Party, General Secretary and Former MLC, Vijay Bakaya today expressed serious concern over the alarming spate of burglaries that were taking place in Tawi Vihar Sidhra, Jammu.
In a statement issued here, Vijay Bakaya stated that despite the local police having been informed and provided CCTV footage of the movement around burgled houses, no deterrent action seems to have been taken by the local police.
Bakaya said that the burglars have got emboldened to carry on with their nefarious activities and are succeeding in decamping with valuables from houses which remain unoccupied during the day as the residents go for work or those which have no security at night.
He suspected that there was some organized gang of professional thieves who had unleashed themselves on this peaceful colony.
He urged the police authorities to apprehend these burglars immediately as the residents were feeling insecure and panic would set in if this phenomenon remained unchecked.
