Thousands of dismissed SPOs, Panthers workers from all over J&K welcome NPP Supremo at Airport
Jammu, February 05, 2021:Thousands of dismissed SPOs and other Panthers Party workers welcomed Prof.Bhim Singh at Jammu Airport on his arrival from Delhi. The Panthers Party activists led by its General Secretary, Ms. Anita Thakur, Panthers Trade Union leaders and others led by Mr. Sewa Singh Bali, General Secretary of Panthers Trade Union were present.
Hundreds of daily wagers, Panthers activists, disengaged SPOs shouting sky-high slogans in support of the Panthers Party and its leaders expressed hope that the Prime Minister of India shall listen to the voice of the people of J&K by restoring the statehood at the earliest. The sky-high voices were raised demanding restoration of all dismissed/disengaged SPOs who were working for more than 8 to 10 years as Special Police Officers (SPOs). Thousands were demanding urgent election in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and restoration of statehood at the earliest.
Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary-JKNPP and other party leaders made urgent appeal to the President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind and other leaders so that 200 years’ old status of J&K is restored which was founded in 1846 by first Dogra Maharaja Gulab Singh. The General Secretary-JKNPP raised the voice that all Panthers Party workers from J&K and Ladakh shall raise the movement upto the gates of the Parliament of India urging on the national leaders to attend the suffering people of J&K and Ladakh.
Addressing the Panthers workers, dismissed SPOs & other trade union leaders, Mr. Sewa Singh Bali, General Secretary-J&K Panthers Trade Union also appealed to the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi and Lt. Governor, Mr. Manoj Sinha to pay urgent attention to the tragic situation that has spread in J&K and Ladakh.
Prof.Bhim Singh appealed to the President of India to direct Lt. Governor to restore the security of the senior Panthers Party leaders in J&K for several months. He himself submitted to the President of India to restore all facilities including transport which has been removed from the security cover of Prof.Bhim Singh though he is under ‘Z’ security cover and has been playing active role to strengthen national integration and continue battle for ‘Haq aur Insaaf’ for all those farmers, low paid employees and daily wagers. The Govt. of J&K has taken away the security vehicle which has been provided to him for his official travels throughout J&K during unrest and sufferings of the wretched of earth in J&K.
Prof.Bhim Singh shall also attend the urgent JKNPP working committee as well as district presidents’ conclave on February 6, 2021 to settle the date of holding election for the state president of recognized JKNPP.
