Sangarsh raises concern over the Site Selection and Planning of GMC Rajouri 

Rajouri, July 18, 2021: Sangarsh Movement raises concern over the site selection and planning of GMC Rajouri that created fears of impending danger to Multi-Billion under construction GMC Rajouri.
General Secretary Dr. Suresh Sangarshi claimed that now the fear of collapse of Main Complex also looms large especially when the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall from 18th to 21st this month. He added that  it seems that the foundation wall is not capable of bearing such a huge load. Given the load of the Hospital and the underlying material, it seems that in the coming days, it is very plausible that the remaining structure is also on the verge of collapse.
Vice Chairman Manir Mirza raised the point that the voices of thorough, in-depth and high level investigation into the entire project since its inception have also gained momentum as there are apprehensions of high level wrongdoings in the site selection, planning and other parameters of the project. Given the distance between GMC Rajouri and District Hospital Rajouri and the most busy route between the two institutions, it is obvious that in the near future, most of the Crucial time of Doctors would get wasted on the most busy and congested route of Jawahar Nagar, Manir added.
He said that the politics played a very adverse role in the site selection of the Multi Billion project and if the site selection itself is flawed and erroneous, how far can the field level workers be held responsible. He further said that it is pertinent to mention that the under construction project is the sole Medical College in the highly sensitive twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch. Any damage to this project will leave a permanent dent to the Medical Facilities of the Twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
Spokesperson Sangarsh Movement, Adv. Priya Sharma appealed the general public of twin border districts to show unity, solidarity and raise voice against the wrongdoings regarding the sole premium and pioneer Medical Institute of the area. Advocate Priya very critically lambasted the concerned authorities and politicians who played critical role in the site selection which is hostile mountainous and even very far away from District Hospital Rajouri.
