Puneet Mahajan meets CEO –Ayushman Bharat, demands Provision of AB-PMJAY Scheme in Maternity Hospital Gandhi Nagar
Jammu, February 10, 2023: BJP Health and Medical Cell Convener Jammu & Kashmir Puneet Mahajan today met Chief Executive Officer –Ayushman Bharat- J&K Sh. Sanjiv M. Gadkar, (IAS) at his office and raised various issues of public importance. He pressed for starting Narender Modi Government flagship Scheme PMJAY Ayushmanbharat SEHAT at Govt. Maternity Hospital Gandhi Nagar which is a associate hospital of Government Medical College, Jammu.
Mahajan had a detailed interaction with the CEO wherein he projected several demands of the public and issues pertaining to the Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards, CRT Approvals and many more. Puneet said due to non-provision of this scheme in Govt. Maternity 200 bedded hospital catering to maternity and childcare services , the public especially poor people are facing a lot of inconvenience in availing the benefit of this scheme.
The CEO observed that the department is making every possible effort to get cent percent registration of the citizens of Jammu & Kashmir and also appealed all the team members to make people aware about the scheme so that everyone could be registered in J&K for this scheme and assured the convener of due consideration of the genuine issues projected during the interaction.
The CEO praised Puneet Mahajan and his team to continue his endeavors for promoting public welfare on health fronts
Santosh Kumar (JKAS) – State Grievance Nodal officer SHA , Dr Wasim Akram – State Consultant SHA, Vivake Koul – Consultant – M&E SHA, Coconveners Mohd Javaid, Bharat Bushan Padha, Arun Sharma, Rakesh Gupta , Er Ramesh Chander , Pawan Choudhary, Sanjay Bhan ,Sandeep Sharma and other team members were also present during the meeting.
