Pandita visits Purkhoo Migrant Camp to assess the hardships of migrants
Start Covid Vaccination in all first Aid centers of migrant Camps for 18 plus
Jammu, June 12, 2021: Apni Party State Coordinator of Displaced Kashmir Pandits for Jammu Vinod Pandita along with other Apni Party leader Vishal Jotshi today visited Purkhoo Camp on the directions of State General Secretary Vijay Bakaya to listen & access the hardships being faced by the
migrants living there on various fronts
In a statement issued today here Pandita said that camp leaders of the party namely Inderjeet Raina, Sh.G.L. Pandita,Ashish Koul and others apprised Pandita about the severe hardships being faced by the residents of camps on the front of regular supply of electricity, pure drinking water, Covid Vaccination for 18 plus, availability of adequate medicines in the first Aid centre and handed over a detailed representation to him for taking up the issues with the concerned authorities for its immediate addressal.
Pandita has appealed to the administration to ensure regular supply of pure drinking water, electricity and initiate immediate measures to start 18 plus Covid Vaccination drive here as well ensure the availability of adequate medicines in the first aid center keeping in view Covid pandemic threat still looming large. He has also appreciated and lauded the move of administration for starting 18 plus vaccination drive in Sub District Hospital Jagti and expressed his gratitude in this regard
Pandita has appealed higher authorities of Health Department to start Covid Vaccination for 18 plus in all the first aid centers of migrants camps in Jammu so that it eases rush at the urban centers as well facilitate them at the door step in view of Covid 19 pandemic. He has also appealed for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all camps
