Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana celebrating the conclusion day of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahoutsav”

Jammu, October 03, 2021: In a continue process of the ongoing Pakhawada, the Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana today on 03/10/2021 celebrated the conclusion day of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahoutsav”. The Chief Guest of the function Sh Asgar Hussain, JKAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu welcomed by Sh Jodh Raj, Executive Officer, Ward Members and Safaimitras of Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana. The Executive Officer administers the Swachtta pledged to all the participants including staff as well as frontline sanitation workers. The function was arranged under the guidance of Sh Jodh Raj Executive Officer and all the arrangement was made under the close supervision of Sh Ravinder Kumar Gupta, Assistant Sanitation Officer and Sh Kamal Kishore Secretary Municipal Committee, Bari Brahamana.

The Chief Guest Sh Asgar Hussain honored all the safaimitras of Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana by presenting them garlands and appreciation certificates i.e. “Scroll of Honor”. The Chief Guest also presented the “Scroll of Honor” to existing Ward Members, Ex-Presidents, Ex-Ward Members, Special Guests, best Entrepreneur of Bari Brahamana town for cooperating with Bari Brahamana municipality to cater the challenge of garbage including plastic wastes. The Chief guest also given Appreciation Certificate to Sh Ravinder Kumar Gupta, Assistant Sanitation Officer and Sh Kamal Kishore, Secretary Municipal Committee Bari Brahamana.

The Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana also arranged the cultural program / Nukad Nattak executing Agency Media Axis  to educate the people to prevent the litter on road / streets / public places and start the process to deliver segregated waste to door to door collection agents of municipality.

The Chief Guest given his warm wishes to the Safaimitras and citizens of the town and urged them to cooperate with the Municipality in order to make the Town neat and clean and develop the best eco system environment for the society. The Chief Guest also shared with the participants that the department is going to establish a MRF (Material Recovery Facility) and Solid Waste Management Plant very shortly in Bari Brahamna Town for which the 10 kanals land has already been transferred by the Deputy Commissioner Ms. Anuradha Gupta, JKAS recently in favour of Municipal Committee Bari Brahamna.

The Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana also arranged the refreshment / lunch for the participants especially for the Safaimitras of the function. The chief guest also have lunch with all the Safaimitras in the function. The Safaimitras gave special thanks to the Chief Guest Sh Asgar Hussain, JKAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu for honoring them.

The Executive Officer thanked to all the participants for supporting Municipal Committee Bari Brahamana, the Officer also assured to the participants that execution of developmental works are in progress and the Municipal Committee very soon complete all the ongoing major developmental works.

Sh Jodh Raj, Executive Officer given special thanks to the chief guest Sh Asgar Hussain, JKAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu for sparing time for Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana from busy schedule, the officer also requested / appealed to all the best Waste Entrepreneurs, School Administrations, citizens as well as shopkeepers of Bari Brahmana town and all participants to cooperate with the Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana in order to make city neat, clean and green. The Executive Officer also requested to the citizens of the town to provide segregated waste to the door to door collection vehicles of the Municipality.
