Mission Shakti initiates its ambitious training initiative to prepare young girls for JKPSI exam

Jammu, December 13, 2021: Mission Shakti, an Initiative by Preeti Choudhary, a young social activist, today started its ambitious free training programme to prepare young girls for the forth coming Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub Inspector exam as well as to raise a cadre of highly enthusiastic young women, to bring the much-needed change in the society at large.

The training programme conceived by Preeti Choudhry, a well-known female Biker of the state with the support of the District Administration, intends to train young women, particularly the under-privileged section, aspiring to join Armed Forces to harness their physical, mental, academic abilities and provide aid and assistance to the other young women who are highly enthusiastic and keen to bring the change and work for self and society.

The training programme began today with basic physical exercises and introductory session in which around 100 girls participated who were supervised by personnel from police and supports personnel.

The training programme is totally free of cost and first of its kind in Jammu, to spread awareness and empowering women for any social and national cause.

Mission Shakti is a 3-month training program for females, which aims to work on, challenging physical strength, testing mental abilities, promoting fitness as a necessary practice among women.

This training program is especially meant for women who wish to achieve and develop woman cadre and test their limits.

Some of the earlier missions and works of Mission Shakti include, Women Bike Rally, Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Drive, Sanitary Napkins Distribution among women in slums, Mask and Medication Distribution during Covid, initiating help and justice for deserving hopeless victims (handicap, poor & needy), arrangement, preparation and distribution of food amongst families during quarantine and promoting love for the nation and fellow beings.
