LG urged to convene urgent meeting of state recognized political parties in national interest
Jammu, June 18, 2021: Prof.Bhim Singh, President, J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) urged Mr. Manoj Sinha, Lt. Governor of J&K to convene an urgent meeting of District Committees of recognized political parties in J&K. The Provincial Presidents with, at least, may be invited with two senior district office bearers in Srinagar from all 10 districts of the Valley similarly the district leadership may be invited from Jammu province in Jammu. It will be convenient for the Hon’ble Lt. Governor as well as for the district leadership to call on Lt. Governor at both places, Srinagar as well as in Jammu.
Prof.Bhim Singh urged the Hon’ble Lt. Governor to give an opportunity to the provincial leadership, both in Kashmir province as well as Jammu to place their grievances directly before the Lt. Governor who is looking after the administration of J&K.
Prof.Bhim Singh conveyed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor that there are three state recognized political parties in J&K which include National Conference, PDP & J&K National Panthers Party. The Hon’ble Lt. Governor may be pleased to invite the leadership of all the three regional political parties both in Srinagar as well as in Jammu.
The Hon’ble Lt. Governor may invite only District President with one if calling three from each recognized political party is in convenient, The Hon’ble Lt. Governor may invite District with one one only.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that political parties in J&K, particularly the recognized political parties, stand isolated from the political process in the entire State of J&K. Calling a meeting of all recognized, at least, political parties is highly essential and in the interest of National Integration and for the return of peace in the entire State of J&K including Ladakh.
Prof.Bhim Singh also appealed to the Lt. Governor, Ladakh region (Union Territory) to kindly hold at least one meeting with the district leadership in Ladakh region with all recognized political parties operating there.
Prof.Bhim Singh also urged the President of India, Mr. Ramnath Kovind to kindly consider this request by NPP in the interest of greater national integration and peace.
