Police holds PCPG meeting at Police Post Narbal

Jammu, May 24, 2021: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held by Budgam Police at Police Post Narbal while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Magam Shri Mohammad Saleem Bhat-JKPS alongwith Tehsildar Narbal, SHO PS Magam and I/C Police Post Narbal and was attended by Numberdars, Chokidars, traders and respectable citizens of the area.

The main aim of the meeting was to strengthen the Police Public relationship and to aware the participants about the SOPs and other guidelines of Covid-19 issued by the Govt.

During the meeting, the participants raised some grievances regarding the problems faced by them during lockdown. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. The participants were also briefed about the precautionary measures to be adopted to contain the spread Covid-19.

The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely. The meeting concluded with a positive note.
