India will have whole of Kashmir someday: Top Air Force officer
Srinagar, October 27, 2021: The Indian Air Force claimed there was no strategy “at the moment” to capture Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PAK), but expressed hope that one day India will have “complete control” of the region.
Speaking to reporters at an event here to mark the 75th anniversary of the Budgam landing of Indian troops, Air Marshal Amit Dev, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Western Air Command also said that people in PoK No. Pakistanis are being treated very fairly.
“The independence of this part of Kashmir was ensured as a result of all the activities carried out by the Indian Air Force and Army (on October 27, 1947).”I am sure that someday Pakistan administered Kashmir will also join this part of Kashmir and we will have the whole of Kashmir in the coming years,” he said.
“On this historic occasion, 75 years after the Budgam landing, in which the Instrument of Accession was signed, we quickly moved in our troops. The Srinagar airfield was salvaged and after that we could launch another offensive. were and could push the Pakistani army further back, which came in the form of tribals,” Air Marshal Amit Dev said.
“I am sure, if the United Nations had not intervened, perhaps the whole of Kashmir would have been ours. Not only was there the participation of the Indian Air Force and Army in Budgam, but several small missions have also taken place, resulting in the independence of independent Kashmir. I am sure that someday PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) will join this part of Kashmir and we will have full Kashmir in the coming years. (PTK)
