Dogri film Mouj Masti’s audio songs, trailer and poster released
Mouj Masti, the film in Dogri language produced by Mohd. Aslam Mir, Vinod Jaral, Rakesh Chalotra and directed by Heera Mani Singh deals with the rising drug abuse in the society that has been wreaking havoc among the younger generations thereby destroying families, relationships and social fabric of the society.
Jammu, January 17, 2023: Dogri Film ‘Mouj Masti’ team released the audio songs, trailer and poster of their much-awaited film at a function here today.
The function which was held at Press Club of Jammu saw a galaxy of TV and film fraternity of Jammu during the official release of the audio songs, trailer and poster of the much-awaited Dogri film Mouj Masti where Padamshree Balwant Thakur was the Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion Balwant Thakur appreciated the efforts of the producers and the director for promoting Dogri through films and TV and said that Jammu has the abundance of talent which is now coming to the fore front to preserve the rich cultural heritage and language through the medium of films.
Advising the local film fraternity to create a viable and strong film industry Balwant Thakur said that artists and technicians must join hands to create a strong film movement with local content as the core so that Jammu earns a name in the film making sector like that of Punjabi Film Industry.
He also stressed on building strong narratives about the rich cultural traditions of J&K adding it was heartening to see that young film makers were coming ahead to revive the film culture in Jammu even though economically the local industry is yet become a profitable industry.

The film is a take on the current scenario in the state of J&K where drugs have made deep inroads into the society with numerous youths finding themselves caught in the cobweb of drugs and their families bearing the brunt partly for ignoring the early sings and partly due to ignorance besides the role of the law enforcement agencies and how the entire web silently engulfs the families and the future of the children in our society.
The film which has been shot entirely in Jammu and its surroundings is a full entertainer with local cast tries to create awareness about the menace of drugs in the society where people hardly talk about it in public but in reality, is witnessing an alarming rise destroying the youth of the society like a silent killer on the prowl.
Mouj Masti also ensures that the film does not become a heavy dose of negativity by sprinkling it with logical comedy thus making it a complete entertainer through relevant comic scenes, songs and dance sequences.
The film has a pure professional touch and competes with regular feature films in terms of making, dialogues, lyrics and songs that have been entirely done in Jammu itself by local technicians, lyricists, musicians with local cast and directed by highly acclaimed Heera mani Singh who is synonymous in J&K with the best talent in the field.
The film has two songs written by Shivani Tak while the music has been composed by Surinder Manhas and choreographed by Akash Dogra.
The cast includes Parvej Mir, Rakesh Chalotra, Davinder Nanda,Raj Kumar Bhat, Sapna Soni, Ritu Mehra, Shekhar, Shazi Khan, Rajat Salgotra, Sars Bharti, Sakshi Bhat, Drishti Rajput, Puneet Gupta, Divwansh Baba, Garu Ram, Prayog Deoria and Aboli Damankar
Mouj Masti has been directed & edited by Heera Mani Singh, Story and Screen Dialouges by Rajeshwar Singh Raju, Play Back Singer, Mohd Riaz Malik, Sushmita Banerjee and Vanshika Jaral and King C Bharati as Media Advisor.
Shazi Khan compered the programme while King C Bharati presented the welcome address.
Mouj Masti which has received the clearance certificate from the Censor Board is soon going to hit the screens very soon.
