Congress leaders of Jammu Province, seek restoration of J&K Houses
Jammu, January,6, 2021: Senior Congress leaders of Jammu Province, seek restoration of J&K Houses, Chanakyapuri New Delhi and Chandigarh to J&K government, in a joint statement issued here today.
The political veterans expressed serious concern over depriving of, to the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their prime and valuable properties owned, possessed and enjoyed by them, by the present dispensation.
There is mass resentment among the people of Jammu and Kashmir over the ulterior motive behind the transfer of properties of downgraded state of J&K. It is not only disgrace and disrespect to the dignity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir but also great loss to the present and future generations, added the Congress leaders.
They urged upon the Lt.Governor JK UT and the Union Government to withdraw the order of transfer of JK Houses from J&K government.
