EC Syed Abbas attends virtual meeting with Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade
KARGIL, JULY 15, 2021: To discuss various measures regarding the New Industrial Policy Development Scheme for Ladakh UT, Executive Councilor for Industries and Commerce Aga Syed Abass Razvi attended a virtual meeting with the Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPITT) Rajendra Ratnoo and the Secretary Industries and Commerce Ladakh Saugat Biswas here today.
EC Syed Abass Razvi underlined the need to frame an inclusive industrial policy to boost the local economy and locally produced products keeping in view the potential of different villages of District Kargil having their own unique identity for production of local products.
The EC Industries and Commerce also highlighted the need to provide proper training and holding of workshops for the local youths in the processing and marketing of local products to generate employment and make Ladakh self-reliant and self-dependent.
