Balvinder urges upon LG Manoj Sinha to Hand over the sensational bribe offer case of 300 crore to Satya Pal Malik to CBI
Jammu, October 23, 2021: RTI activist S Balvinder Singh expressed surprise over sensational disclosure of bribe offer by the Governor of Meghalya and erst while Governor of J&K SH Satya Pal Malik, that he was offered 300 crores bribe by two firms involving Ambani and senior RSS functionary. While elaborating the issues Mr Malik said that two files came before me in Jammu and Kashmir. One of them pertained to Ambani and another to a senior RSS functionary. A former Minister of Mehbooba Mufti Government was also involved. As per Satya Pal Malik the deals were appeared to be fraud. One of the secretaries told me that he would get Rs. 150 crore each in the two deals. Then both the deals were rejected.
Malik further said that when he brought this to the notice of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi he categorically told him that there can be no compromise on corruption in J&K after which both the deals were cancelled. He also described three former Chief Ministers including Dr Farooq Abdhulla, Omar Abdhulla and Mehbooba Mufti as beneficiaries of Roshni Scam along with other bureaucrats and some other influential persons.
Balvinder Singh along with other civil society members S Manjit Singh, S Rajinder Singh Sudan , Sh Anil Nargotra, Sh Harish Soi, S T.P Singh, Sh Mahesh Kotwal, Ayaz Ahmad Khan urged upon the LG Manoj Sinha that the allegations of bribe are not levelled by an ordinary man but by a person sitting on the highest constitutional post as Governor of Meghalya. So keeping in view of the above facts as well as for rooting out the Corruption from entire Nation and also to pacify the inhabitants of the State who want to get the clear and comprehensive picture of the matter, it is requested to take the cognizance of the aforesaid sensational allegations leveled by former Hon’ble Governor of Jammu & Kashmir & Presently Existing Governor of Meghalaya Sh. Satya Pal Malik and make known to the inhabitants of the State regarding the present status & type of those projects whether they had been given clearance after departure of Satya Pal Malik as Governor of J&K and whether those projects have started or hanging in the fire hitherto as well as expose the tacit Senior RSS functionary, as alleged by the then Governor, and also Secretary refferd by the Governor as these hypocrists are hoodwinking & plundering the country through their habit of Corruption .
We are hope full that our request regarding the cognizance of the aforesaid sensational allegations shall be dealt on priority basis/ prompt action in public interest.
