Apni Party Youth Wing stages protest at Amphalla Chowk in support of unemployed dentists

Jammu, June 26, 2021: Apni Party Youth Wing today staged a protest demonstration in support of unemployed dentists at Amphalla Chowk in Jammu.

In a statement to the press, Apni Party Youth Wing Vice President and Media Coordinator Raqeeq Ahmed Khan, General Secretary Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya, District President, Jammu, Shivam Choudhary along with other youth leaders participated in a protest of unemployed dentists and extended full support to their genuine demands.

The protesters demanded regular advertisement of posts as thousands of students from Dental College complete their degrees, but they do not get jobs and hence, they remain jobless, said Vice President Youth Wing and Media Coordinator Raqeeq Ahmed Khan.

aKhan said that Apni Party Youth Wing will support the unemployed dentists for their genuine demands and urged the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to order recruitment of dentists so that the unemployed can get jobs.

“There has been no recruitment of dentists since 2009 and appealed that they should regulate the recruitment process to end the grievances of the unemployed dentists,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary, Youth Wing, Abhay Bakaya said that the vacant posts should be advertised so that the unemployed dentists can be recruited to such posts.

“The recruitment process has been delayed without any reason and it has put the future of the youth in trouble who are graduating from the Dental College every year,” he said.

Bakaya said that “The Govt. must come clear on the issue and delay the recruitment process. The future of the youth should not be compromised.”

Meanwhile, District President, Youth Wing, Jammu, Shivam Choudhary said that they stand with the dentists and will continue to fight against the injustice with the unemployed educated youth.

Dr Rahul Koul, President, Unemployed Dental Surgeons of J&K thanked the youth wing of Apni Party for extending their support to them.

Koul said that the unemployed dentists have been deprived of their right to get jobs by the fault of the authorities concerned as they have not referred to the vacant posts for advertisement.

Prominent among those youth wing leaders who were present in the protest include Vipul Bali, Sushail Khajuria, Simarnjeet Singh, Ashraf Choudhary, Vishal Zutshi and others.
