Harbourer of militants’ arrested in Reasi town: Reasi police
Reasi, June 07, 2021: Reasi Police arrested an accused of providing shelter and other logistics to the militants & was underground for the last 22 years.
Accused Mohi-ud-din S/O Samdoo R/O Shikari, Tehsil Mahore & District Reasi was absconding in Case FIR no 82/1999 Dated 22/06/1999 U/S 212, 216 RPC Police Station Mahore.
Case FIR was proved and challaned in the court of law, accused went underground as soon as FIR was lodged & avoided participating in the investigation proceedings & nor he could be apprehended since registration of case FIR in 1999.
A warrent under section 512 CrPC was issued by Hon’ble court JMIC Mahore against the accused on 18/02/2002.
By meticulously planning & Coordinated efforts after developing input, team of Police Station Mahore arrested the criminal.
This is the arrest of fourteenth absconder by Reasi Police within a period of six weeks time against whom warrants U/S 512 CrPC was pending.
