Panthers Party celebrating 39th Foundation Day All Districts in J&K & Ladakh invited to join

Jammu, March 08, 2021: Prof.Bhim Singh, President of JKNPP held an emergency meeting of the party and appointed committee of seven senior party leaders which shall organize the 39^th Foundation Day celebration on March 23, 2021 at Jammu where Panthers Party was founded in 1982.

The Panthers Party shall reorganize all the districts in J&K and Ladakh which are covered by the JKNPP as recognized political party by the Election Commission of India.

Prof.Bhim Singh also extended heartfelt greeting to all the Panthers Party activists as well as those who are in love with the Panthers Party and have been joining hands in all its struggle since 1982.

Prof.Bhim Singh also declared that the Panthers activists/office bearers who had suffered from police thrashing/beating in 2007 on Reasi-Katra road and even in several districts of Jammu province shall be given bravery awards for facing police suppression and oppression. More than dozen of Panthers Party leaders are still facing so-called trial in the Reasi District and Jammu District. Those facing the trial include Panthers Party Vice President, Mr. P.K. Ganju, General Secretary, Ms. Anita Thakur and several others who were released by the Supreme Court intervention which awarded Rs.2 lacs compensation for Anita Thakur, Rs.1 Lac compensation each for Mr. P.K. Ganju and Mr. H.C. Jalmeria. The case is still going on.

Prof.Bhim Singh said that Panthers Party activists from Ladakh, Kashmir to Jammu have made several sacrifices and justice seems nowhere. The Panthers Party shall be honouring the Panthers Party who died in police firing during the past 38 years.
