Springdales Students Soar on ‘Wings of Desire’ at Annual Day

November 25, 2024: Ebullience and zest filled the Zorawar Singh Auditorium for the 12th Annual Day of Springdales School, Barnai, Jammu, on November 25, 2024. The show, themed “Wings of Desire,” celebrated the confidence, courage, learning, and dreams of the students. {Watch Video Here}

Mr. Satish Sharma, Minister of the J&K Government, Jammu, was the esteemed Chief Guest, and Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Principal of GMC Jammu, was the Guest of Honor. Dr. Kuldeep Raina, Head of the Music Department at M.A.M. College, was a special guest.

The program commenced with a floral welcome of the guests, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Chairman, Vice-Chairperson, Director, Principal, and other dignitaries. A rendition of Saraswati Vandana by the school choir marked the beginning of the celebrations.

Principal Mrs. Archna Jandev Manhas extended a heartfelt welcome and presented the school report, highlighting the students’ noteworthy accomplishments. The captivating show, featuring dazzling dances, drama, mime, Zumba, and musical performances, left the audience spellbound. The English play mesmerized the audience with its enchanting narrative and stellar performances. The festivities reached a crescendo with the much-awaited Bhangra performance.

Meritorious students were recognized and awarded for their academic brilliance. The Director presented tokens of remembrance and gratitude to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor. The auditorium reverberated with thunderous applause, showering the performers with love and support.

The Director, Mr. Gaurav Malhotra, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students for their invaluable contributions. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
