Jogi Elected President of Zeashta Devi Prabandhak Committee (ZDPC)

New Leadership Team Announced Following Elections at Srinagar's Mata Zeashta Asthampan

Srinagar, November 24, 2024: The Zeashta Devi Prabandhak Committee (ZDPC) announced the results of its elections for Office Bearers and Executive Members, held today at the Mata Zeashta Asthampan in Zeathyar, Srinagar. Polling took place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, overseen by a three-member Election Commission comprising Sh. Ashok Kumar Ganjoo (CEC), Sh. B.L. Bhan (EC), and Sh. B.L. Jalali (EC). The vote count concluded at 10:00 PM, after which the results were officially declared via notification number EA/ZDPC/2024/08, dated 24th November 2024, issued by the Election Authority.

Ravinder Kumar Jogi was elected President, with Ashwani Raina as Vice President, Ramesh Khuda as General Secretary, Avinash Wangoo as Secretary, Piaray Lal Pandita as Publicity/Organising Secretary, and Kanwal Kumar Bhat as Treasurer. Deepak Moza will assume the role of Store Keeper cum Accountant. The newly elected Executive Members are Bushan Lal Saraf, Kewal Sher, Vimal Jee, Pavan Kumar Bhat, Aneel Hashyia, Bansi Lal Choudhary, Rakesh Kumar Raina, Rakesh Koul (Jalali), Raman Raina, Anil Kaul, and Amit Parimoo.

The ZDPC emphasized that this outcome reflects the unwavering trust and support of the community members and their collective commitment to the Sanastha’s progress. The elected team, under the leadership of President Ravinder Kumar Jogi, pledged to continue its mission of providing comprehensive facilities to devotees.
