Orzu Sports and Cultural Fest hosts 3 day sports event at Jagti
Jammu, December 12, 2023: Orzu Sports and Cultural Fest is hosting 3 day sports event at Jagti Cricket Ground Lane 12 from 12th December 2023 to 14th of December 2023 in which many teams from different parts of Jammu are participating to exhibit hidden talent as well as provide a platform for youngsters who aim to make their future in the field of sports.
Dr. Nirmal Singh Former Dy. Chief Minister J&K and. senior BJP leader attended the opening function as chief Guest.
Prominent socio-political leaders M.K. Yogi, Vinod Pandita, Piyush Mattoo member Kashmiri US Overseas Association, and Vishal Jotshi graced the event as guests of honor amidst a huge public gathering.
In a statement issued today by the coordinator of the event, Subash Zutshi said that this three-day sports tournament began today at Jagti which was inaugurated by Dr. Nirmal Singh former Dy. Chief Minister & Senior BJP leader who graced the event as chief guest.
The chief guest was honored with the bouquet and garlanded by the organizers amidst a huge public gathering.
While inaugurating the tournament Dr. Nirmal Singh complimented the organizers of the tournament especially Orzu Sports and Cultural Fest for hosting such tournaments and sports meet for the youngsters and allowing them to display their hidden talent as well availing them an opportunity to keep them physical and mentally fit.
He further said that organizing such sports tournaments can also avail our youngsters an opportunity to participate at UT and National levels based on their performance.
He further added that youth who is the back bone of the society must remain far away from the drug abuse menace that is spoiling our society in a bad way.
Prominent Socio Political leaders M.K. Yogi, Vinod Pandita, Piyush Mattoo Member Kashmiri over Overseas Association US, and Vishal Joshi who attended the function as guest of honors were also honored with bouquets and garlanded.
While speaking on the occasion M K Yogi congratulated the organizers especially Subash Zutshi for organizing such a sports meet in Jagti Township to explore the hidden talent of the society.
M.K.Yogi also appealed to Orzu Sports Cultural Fest to organize more such tournaments in other migrant camps like Muthi, Purkhoo, Buta Nagar, Udhampur and in non camps too to avail an opportunity for those youngsters who are interested in such games to discharge their assigned role in nation-building ventures.
Yogi lauded the role of this organization which has been organizing such events for more than sixteen years and wished them all success in future ventures.
