Shri Shakti Peeth, Jamdoli commences National Raksha Bandhan Yatra-2023; Yatra to reach India-China Border

Jaipur, August 25, 2023: On the day of Raksha Bandhan, a group of around 50 girls set off on Friday from Jaipur’s Amar Jawan Jyoti to tie Rakhis on the wrists of soldier brothers stationed at the India-China border as well as others enroute.
In the sacred presence of revered Sadhvi Samdarshi Giri ji from Shri Shakti Peeth, Jamdoli, this National Raksha Bandhan Yatra-2023 will reach the last village of India, Mana Pass, near the India-China border, in Badrinath, Uttarakhand to tie Rakhis on the wrists of soldiers there.
Organized by Shri Shakti Peeth Jamdoli, this is the 11th National Raksha Bandhan Yatra, in which approximately 33,000 Rakhi threads are being carried along.
On Amar Jawan Jyoti, in the afternoon, homage was paid to the immortal martyrs, and the families of the martyred soldiers were bestowed with Rakhi threads, as this journey embarked on its route by bus.
Under the meticulous guidance of Shri Shakti Peeth, the National Raksha Bandhan Yatra has been undertaken on the border for the past 10 years, wherein 50 daughters from various states of the country participate. They travel to the India-Pakistan and India-China borders, and on the day of Raksha Bandhan, they tie Rakhi threads on the wrists of the soldier brothers, commemorating this sacred festival.
On this occasion Tributes were paid to Martyr Amit Bhardwaj while Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Sharma from Shri Shakti Peeth was also honoured. In this context, distinguished individuals also tied Rakhi threads, and the group of around 50 girls proceeded to tie Rakhi threads to the soldiers stationed at the nation’s borders, accompanied by chants of victory to Mother India.
The Background
On the day of Raksha Bandhan, the wrists of soldiers deployed on the India-China border will not be devoid of Rakhis. For this purpose, a group of around 50 girls set off from Jaipur on Friday. This “National Raksha Bandhan Yatra” will reach Mana Pass, Badrinath, Uttarakhand, near the India-China border. The team has tied Rakhi threads at around 8 locations by the ITBP to express their love and gratitude towards the country’s soldiers, making this grand festival a commemoration.
While forgetting their families and festive celebrations, the soldiers stationed at the country’s borders will receive a gift on Raksha Bandhan. About 33,000 Rakhi threads were provided by various schools and social organizations in Jaipur for the 11th National Raksha Bandhan Yatra that set off on Friday. At Amar Jawan Jyoti in Jaipur, homage was paid to the martyrs, and Rakhi threads were tied to the families of the martyred soldiers.
Sadhvi Samdarshi Giri, the founder of Shri Shakti Peeth, mentioned that the National Raksha Bandhan Yatra has been undertaken on the border for the past 10 years. On Raksha Bandhan day, the festival of tying Rakhi threads to the soldier brothers has been consistently celebrated. The journey began with 5,000 Rakhis, and through social support, it has reached more than 800,000 Rakhi threads to the soldier brothers. This journey has spanned from Gujarat to Leh-Ladakh and from Rajasthan-Punjab-Jammu-Kashmir to Maana, determining its route.

जयपुर, 25, 2023: अगस्त।रक्षाबंधन के दिन भारत—चीन सीमा पर सैनिक भाइयों की कलाइयों पर राखी बांधने के लिए करीब 50 बालिकाओं का दल शुक्रवार, को जयपुर के अमर जवान ज्योति से रवाना हुआ। श्री शक्ति पीठ, जामड़ोली की ओर से पूज्या दीदी साध्वी समदर्शी गिरी के पावन सानिध्य में यह ‘राष्ट्रीय रक्षाबंधन यात्रा-2023’ रक्षाबंधन पर भारत—चीन सीमा के पास भारत का आखिरी गांव माणा पास, बद्रीनाथ, उत्तराखंड पहुंचेगी। श्री शक्तिपीठ जामड़ोली द्वारा यह 11वीं राष्ट्रीय रक्षाबंधन यात्रा है , जिसके तहत करीब 33000 रक्षा सूत्र साथ लेकर जा रही है। अमर जवान ज्योति पर दोपहर अमर बलिदानी सैनिको को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर और अमर जवानो के परिवारजनों को रक्षा सूत्र बांधकर यह यात्रा बस द्वारा अपनी यात्रा पर निकली।
श्री शक्ति पीठ के तत्वावधान में गत 10 वर्षों से सीमा पर राष्ट्रीय रक्षाबंधन यात्रा ले जाई जा रही है, जिसमें देश के विभिन्न राज्यों की 50 बेटियां शामिल होकर भारत—पाक और भारत—चीन सीमा पर जाकर रक्षाबंधन के दिन सैनिक भाइयों को रक्षा सूत्र बांधकर यह पावन पर्व मनाया जाता है।
रक्षाबंधन के दिन भारत-चीन सीमा पर तैनात सैनिकों की कलाई सूनी न रहे, इसके लिए करीब 50 बालिकाओं का दल शुक्रवार को जयपुर
से रवाना हुआ. ये राष्ट्रीय रक्षाबंधन यात्रा रक्षाबंधन पर भारत-चीन सीमा माणा पास, बद्रीनाथ, उत्तराखंड पहुंचेगी. दल की ओर से आईटीबीपी के
करीब 8 स्थानों पर रक्षा सूत्र बांधकर देश के जवानों के प्रति प्रेम और आभार जताते हुए ये महापर्व मनाया जाएगा.
अपने परिवार, तीज-त्योहार को भूल देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा में तैनात जवानों को रक्षाबंधन पर एक तोहफा मिलेगा. जयपुर की विभिन्न स्कूलों
और सामाजिक संगठनों से मिले करीब 75 हजार रक्षा सूत्र जवानों को बांधने के लिए 7वीं राष्ट्रीय रक्षाबंधन यात्रा शुक्रवार को रवाना हुई. जयपुर के
अमर जवान ज्योति पर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर, यहां मौजूद शहीदों के परिजनों को रक्षा सूत्र बांधे गए. श्री शक्ति पीठ की ओर से यहां
ओलंपिक गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट अभिनव शर्मा का सम्मान भी किया गया. इस मौके पर यहां मौजूद विशिष्ट जनों को भी रक्षा सूत्र बांधकर 50 बालिकाओं
का दल भारत माता के जयकारे के साथ राष्ट्र की सीमा पर तैनात सैनिकों के रक्षा सूत्र बांधने के लिए अग्रसर हुआ.
श्री शक्ति पीठ की संस्थापिका साध्वी समदर्शी गिरी ने बताया कि बीते 0 सालों से सीमा पर राष्ट्रीय रक्षाबंधन
यात्रा ले जाई जा रही है. रक्षाबंधन के दिन फौजी भाइयों को रक्षा सूत्र बांधकर ये पर्व मनाया जाता रहा है. इसकी शुरुआत 5 हजार राखियों से हुई
थी और ये कारवां सामाजिक सहयोग के जरिए रक्षा सूत्र प्राप्त करते हुए अब तक 8 लाख से ज्यादा राखियां फौजी भाइयों तक पहुंचा चुका है. ये
यात्रा पहले गुजरात से लेह-लद्दाख तक और राजस्थान-पंजाब-जम्मू-कश्मीर से लेकर माणा तक अपना सफर तय कर चुकी है.
