Dr. Rohit Sharma from SKUAST-Jammu gets best Paper Award
Dr. Rohit Sharma, Scientist, SKUAST-Jammu got best research paper award in 5th International Agronomy Congress on “Agri-Innovations to Combat Food and Nutrition Challanges” organized by prestigious Indian Society of Agronomy New Delhi in collaboration with PJTSAU, Hyderabad and Indian Council of Agriculture Research New Delhi recently held at PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 23-27th of Nov. 2021.
The conference was organized in hybrid mode and attended by more than 1400 scientists from across the globe.
The award was presented to Dr. Rohit Sharma by Dr. Ashok Daliwal, CEO, NRAA, Government of India along with Dr. V. Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor PJTSAU and President ISA in presence of other eminent scientists.
The research paper entitled “’Role of various organic sources of nutrients on growth and yield of Bushy Rajmash under high hills (Bhaderwah) of Jammu” was presented by Dr. Sharma” under the thematic area of “Perspective in Organic Agriculture” and discussed in detail about the organic nutrient management strategies in high hills of Jammu.
