BJP leader and Co Convenor Sanskritik cell Sumit Sharma celebrates Chhat Puja with the locals of Bihar in Jammu

Jammu, November 11, 2021: BJP’ Leader and Co Convenor Sanskritik Cell Sumit Sharma celebrates the festival of Chhat Puja with the people’s of Bihar in jammu . People’s of Bihar also faliciated Sumit Sharma on this occasion Sumit said India is known all over the world for its vast  Culture.

Sumit said Chhath is an ancient Hindu Vedic festival historically native to the Indian subcontinent, more specifically, the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal as well as the

Madhesh region of Nepal. The Chhath Puja is dedicated to the Sun and his wives Usha and Sangya or Sanbdhya in order to thank them for bestowing the bounties of life on earth and to request the granting of certain wishes. Chhath does not involve any idol worship. This festival is observed by Nepalese and Indian people, along with their diaspora.
