392 covid SOP violators booked; Reasi Police
Reasi, June 29, 2021: To fight Covid Pandemic, to assist health department & civil administration of district Reasi in fighting the deadly pandemic, on the one hand awareness about Covid SOP’s is being made in every nook and corner of district Reasi through teams of Police Stations, on the other hand Police is enforcing & slapping fines against the Violators of Covid appropriate behavior in the jurisdiction to achieve 100% compliance on COVID Appropriate Behavior protocol set by the Health department.
Under this drive Reasi Police booked 392 violators in a single day long exercise launched in length and breadth of Reasi through different teams of district police Reasi constituted for the purpose and a fine of ₹ 28,000 was collected.
Besides this more than 509 Police personnel along with 5774 Village Defense Committee members are already engaged in awareness drive & ‘Force Multiplier’ in the vaccination campaign in Mahore & other areas of the District Reasi for Covid Protocol. Police & VDC are actively mobilizing eligible citizens & moving them to vaccination camps.
Pertinent to mention that as a part of drive against violators of Covid Protocol 6079 violators had been booked in punitive action by Reasi Police since April 2021.
SSP Reasi Sh Shailender Singh told that Reasi Police is committed to make people aware about Covid SOP’s and make them to follow Covid appropriate behavior in totality along with vaccination which is the only way out to fight against this deadly Pandemic.
Mr. Singh further appealed that people should come forward for Covid Vaccination and let’s make district Reasi as 100% Vaccinated district.
