3 Days 19th KPL Cricket Tournament Concludes at Jagti Township Jammu
The three days tournament concluded on 9th January 2025 evening and in the grand concluding ceremony of this event, Dr. Arvind Karwani JKA, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner J&K was the chief guest, Senior KP leaders/notable social activists M.K.Yogi, Vinod Pandita and Abhay Bakaya graced the event at Guest of Honours. Naveen Gosawani was the stage secretary during the 3 days tournament.
Jammu, January 10, 2024: Orzu Sports, Cultural & Educational Trust Jagti Jammu organized 3 days 19th KPL Cricket Tournament at Jagti township Jammu in which 12 Teams of under 14 boys and girls & three teams of women participated. The tournament commenced on 7th January and concluded on 9th January 2025. The Tournament was inaugurated on its opening day that is on 7th instant by Shri Yudhvir Sethi Sr. BJP leader and Hon’ble MLA & M.K. Yogi Senior KP leader. The event was witnessed by a large number of local inhabitants of Jagti and adjoining village of Nagrota.
As per a statement issued by Subash Zutshi, Chairman Orzu, Sports, Cultural and Education Trust, the three days tournament concluded on 9th January 2025 evening and in the grand concluding ceremony of this event, Dr. Arvind Karwani JKA, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner J&K was the chief guest, Senior KP leaders/notable social activists M.K.Yogi, Vinod Pandita and Abhay Bakaya graced the event at Guest of Honours. Naveen Gosawani was the stage secretary during the 3 days tournament.
M.K. Yogi Senior KP leader while speaking on the occasion congratulated the winner teams, runner ups and all the teams who participated in this three days cricket tournament. He also lauded the role of the Orzu Sports, cultural and Educational Trust management who have been availing this platform for the youth since more than a decade to explore their hidden talent as well facilitate them to take part the field of sports which is very important for them as an extra-curricular activities.
Notable socio/political activists Vinod Pandita and Abhay Bakaya who also graced the occasion as guest of honours said in their speech that by holding such Tournaments, it not only exhibits the hidden and raw talent but also opens many gateways for their career in this stream at State and National level i They both lauded and complimented the role this platform which it has been playing for the youth in general and community in particular in keeping them engaged in such beneficent activities in order to groom them for future.
Dr. Arvind Karwani JKAS Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner J&K who was Chief Guest of the function gave away prizes, trophies and Mementos to the winning Team, runner ups and to all the players who participated in the 3 days tournament. He also honored Media fraternity for discharging their honest role as a fourth pillar of democracy. He while speaking on this occasion said that by organizing such tournaments, it paves a way for grooming the hidden talent in order to mobilize their energy towards sports field which can become career of countless youth in time to come. He also assured every possible help to the trust for doing the splendid job for last many years.
In the end Vote of Thanks was presented by Subash Zutshi, Chairman of Orzu, Sports, Cultural and Educational Trust who expressed his heartiest gratitude to all the sponsors especially to Land Mark Crafts Limited and K.K. Enterprises who have made this event successful as well to the dignitaries who spared their valuable time in making this concluding event a grand success.
